The buildings surrounding the hotel are quite dilapidated and you feel that you are one street too far from respectability. The hotel is close to the main old town attractions however. The room was quite large and clean however the bathroom was very poorly laid out, and very small - the shower was miniscule and the shower rose had to be hand held while showing - quite bizzare really. The staff however were pleasant and helpful with arranging tours etc. The room had an annex with 2 single beds so I guess if you were wanting reasonably priced accommodation for 4 people and didn't care about the dodgy street and tiny bathroom this may be for you!!! Fortunately the airconditioner worked well even if the TV didn't.

We had a great family room - it was very large, 2 rooms really, as doors separated the room into 2 bedrooms. Very good air conditioning, very clean and good breakfast. Very good location, close to metro and bus station, (5 min walk) and lots of shops and restaurants. Only downside, no view from our window. Very helpful English-speaking staff. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Top Tip

So many things to see around here - the acropolis, Lykavittos Hill (which we walked back to the hotel from in the evening after watching the sunset- all downhill so not too strenuous), the National Gardens, changing of the guards at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the hour. Good restaurants around Adrianou street - would recommend Event at 7b Mnisikleous str.
